Meet the team: Dean Forbes – The Wordsmith Account Manager

Dean is a passionate and influential healthcare communicator with over 15 years spent working for blue chip and niche, specialist companies.  Dean has worked in preventative healthcare and pharmaceuticals for 7 years, helping generate results through marketing and public relations strategies that connect with a range of demographics from young professionals to the health conscious retired population.

Dean has led and delivered health awareness campaigns tackling nutritional deficiencies, weight management, menopause and cardiovascular health.  He can cultivate meaningful relationships with leading researchers, influencers in the media and the public figures who can make a difference.  His experience includes the use of traditional public relations, creative copy writing, celebrity endorsement, social media, digital marketing, learning resources and symposia.

By working with businesses large and small, alongside customer relationship management, Dean has been able to fine-tune his copy writing and verbal communication skills to help produce clear, informative messages, giving measurable results.

Since joining Onyx Health as Client Account Manager, Dean has been expanding his knowledge of the NHS, developing specialist medical education, devising consumer-facing health awareness campaigns and engaging with respected healthcare experts who help him to make change happen.  He ensures the team are in place to give clients what they need and provides responsive support way beyond the 9 to 5.   When it comes to selling your message with passion, nobody does it better than Dean.
