Content Manager

Onyx Health is looking for an experienced and dynamic Content Manager to act as the lynchpin in campaign execution, meeting the high quality standards our clients and their audiences deserve.

Under the guidance of our Head of Content, you will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing multiple campaigns across the client portfolio, to ensure we fulfil all business goals and objectives.

Your solid background in communications, successful experience in content creation and natural curiosity in learning and translating data insights into compelling messages will enable us to transform the approach of healthcare communications.

What’s involved?

  • Successfully plan, organise, and assist in the execution of multiple campaigns across the client portfolio whilst ensuring quality of output is always maintained
  • Craft content for adverts, case studies, thought leadership articles, press releases, white papers, brochures and social media platforms for global businesses and brands
  • Create and mould content based on data insight for audience
  • Assist with content strategy and storytelling
  • Write, review and edit high quality, compelling messages and content, which is accurate and grammatically correct, making sure that all communications support the target objectives and KPIs
  • Editing and optimising content across all communications channels
  • Use a messaging matrix to develop narratives and stories that can be played out using long and short form content and across different channels and mediums such as audio and video
  • Research and understand target audiences and how they will enagage with the content
  • Provide assistance to the Account Department and Creative Team when brainstorming ideas for campaigns and projects
  • Identify potential PR and media opportunities for clients and Onyx Health to explore
  • Collaborate with the digital content team to improve online content for SEO/SEM purposes
  • Be well informed on contemporary and emerging themes and topics to ensure we have a voice in the market
  • Assist with agency communications and development of new business proposal writing

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English or Public Relations
  • Excellent copywriting skills and editorial experience
  • Proven experience in content creation and management in the delivery of successful projects
  • Experience in developing and implementing content marketing strategies
  • Outstanding attention to detail and proof reading skills
  • Understanding brand and tone of voice
  • Able to research the competitor landscape and identify how to stand out from the crowd
  • Ability to source information and reference to a high standard
  • Experience in working within and across digital marketing channels
  • Comprehensive understanding of PR and Media Relations
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on our success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Oral communications skills and ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues and partners
  • Desire to do things differently and perseverance in the face of difficulty
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects
  • Energetic and tenacious attitude
